Finding Purpose - Reveal the angel within

It would seem that we meander through life , jumping from one chapter to the next wondering what happened, how one can be so successful while another is still trying to figure out what day of the week it is. What makes us so different ? We all have the same 24 hours in any given day yet how come that some of us are out there making a difference while others are causing havoc and destroying the world we live in ?

We can associate these thoughts with opportunity, background, inheritance or lack of , yet on a closer glimpse into the lives of others we will note that none of that is satisfactory to believe. Some of the poorest people become the most remarkable human beings whilst some of the wealthiest children in the world who have copious amounts of opportunities placed at their feet do nothing to inspire us, therefore wealth is not the answer nor is opportunity.

In my opinion the difference is education. I'm not talking about college degrees and formal education , I am referring to self education and a hunger to learn. Within each of us there is an angel crying to be freed , I call her an angel you may call it purpose. We all have it but for some of us we never release it , we never take the time to listen to ourselves, to realize that we do not need to follow the path that is being laid in front of us to find our passion.

Very often following the rules of the status quo are not to our benefit they are simply a pattern , yet a pattern that does nothing to inspire us. We most certainly do need to have formal education because that is the basis of our future, however the story does not stop there. That is only our foundation, it is on that foundation that we build the next level to the future life we desire for ourselves.

Purpose is not about doing what all the influencer's have decided is the 'It' thing for today. Purpose is what resonates with our true self, what fills us with pleasure and joy, that one thing that can only be defined by our true self and that is so uniquely different for each of us. My purpose will not be yours and vice versa. However it should be noted that very often we do not listen to our inner angel which is why most of us take jobs / careers that are not totally of our choosing. We choose someone else's plan for us or the money trail that we think will lead to great happiness except it does not.

Money does not bring us the great happiness that we think it will. Money is simply a reward for our achievement . Great happiness is the goal of success. when we listen to our angel and realize the talents we hold within, that is when true success is achieved. It is time that we stopped listening to the noise that is forcing us to believe and follow routines that do not serve our purpose and begin to plan the routine that leads us to the focus of our hearts.

To find our true purpose in life, we must set our angel free. Listen to your heart, be silent and embrace what truly makes you happy even if it is not what others expect from you .
