Time To Breathe

Sometimes a requirement of finding clarity is to be totally alone with our own thoughts. Time away from everything that is familiar gives us that space to uncloud our minds of chores and daily tasks.

A fresh perspective on plans and ideas, that we always had, we simply have not yet found the time or space to develop them.

A new view or a change of scenery can be all the inspiration we need to find our balance, to find the clarity and reason to focus on our next chapter.

When life is so hectic and task lists growing by the second, life can feel overwhelming. So often we procrastinate until we back ourselves into a corner, entangled in our own thoughts and unable to free ourselves from the net of frustration.

If we can find space to be in nature, free of screens and technology, the only interruption is the sound of waves kissing the shore line or wind whispering to the trees, then we can find ourselves once again. We can find who we really are with no input from the outside world. Our emotions become free. We have no fear. We can recognize our true personality and once again fall in love with the precious life we have been given.

Our next breath is taken for granted, we never think about the functions our body must perform to enable us to breathe, the same could be said of the beauty that surrounds us. We expect the sun to rise and the tides to change. We experience the seasons but do we ever truly notice them?

Living life slow and with intention is the ideal time to take stock of our seasons. To watch the sunrise or acknowledge the sun setting.

My task for today is to make a journal entry about how the sun looks. how the Autumnal air smells and the changes I am noticing in this season.

MY Journal Prompts for today

As the sun rises I am reminded of -

Falling leaves reminds me of-

Where is your special place to go at this time of year?

Name something you see, something you smell, something you taste and something you touch in Autumn that gives you comfort.

I hope you have fun exploring my prompts. Please share your ideas below I love reading about your experiences.
